The Honda Civic Si Concept coupe and the Civic Concept sedan made their world debuts at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan. The Concept vehicles offered an intriguing preview of the styling direction of the new, ninth-generation Civic.

This spring, the all-new Civic model range will arrive with unprecedented diversity, including conventional sedan and coupe models, sporty “Si” performance versions, as well as hybrid and natural-gas variants. The new Civic hybrid will feature a lithium ion battery cell, the first ever for a Honda hybrid. In another first for Honda, the Eco-Assist™[1] system will be available in most upcoming Civic models. Additionally, Honda is expanding retail sales of the natural gas-powered Civic GX model.

Originally, the ninth generation Civic was set to debut in the Summer of 2010 as a 2011 model, but once CAFE regulations changed and the auto industry hit hard times in 2009, Honda had to rethink things. Rumors stated Honda originally wanted to make the Civic larger, but as you can see from our earlier spy photos, the overall size of the 2012 Civic will remain largely unchanged. – Drew Johnson @ leftlanenews

Honda has made this season the time for changes. After the images of the model of 2012 CR-V concept which will be launched are shown, now, there is an issue that the 2012 Pilot SUV will also be redesigned

2011 Honda Pilot

In 2002, the introduction of Pilot’s second generation is made. Two years later, Honda made some facelifts to the car. The most obvious change is the brand new front grill which has three slates with simpler appearance. This new grill is for replacing the fascia of the old model which was oddly designed.

The new trim also has fog light surrounds and lower front grille. They are accompanied with new design of alloy wheels. The exterior mirrors contain the turn signals, epitomizing the changes in the interior parts.

It is also issued that the 2012 Pilot will have the automatic transmission with six speeds replacing the unit with five speeds of the 2012 MY. The interior is improved with new systems of navigation and audio.

Looks like Honda going to introduce it’s latest Honda Civic 2012 model this year atFrankfurt Motor Show 2011. This Honda Civic latest model features the Honda Civic Hathcback model.

The most obvious feature is the behind lights which functions as aerodynamic spoiler. This model looks like going to give more for interior space. We will look more when theFrankfurt Motor Show 2011 starts in September 2011. But for start, sure this latest model of Civic 2012 going to be sold in UK before other countries in early 2012.

In September, at the Frankfurt Motor Show the nine-generation of the Civic hatchback for European market will be premiered. For their customers in Europe, Honda will give an exclusive-design hatchback. This will be followed separately with the sedan with four doors and coupe with two doors. These two have also the same name.

   The current model’s edgy styling can still be found in this model. This includes the door handles which are hidden. These handles are placed at the front windows’ corners. Because the passenger space is improved, the car gets longer.

As a prove that Civic for European market has better quality, Honda puts revised suspension under its sheetmetal. It will improve the quality of ride, comfort, handling, and body control.

The rear torsion beam is retained in the Civic. The mum is also still kept on the powertrain details. As new introduction, there is a small displacement of turbo diesel engine. Under the i-DTEC unit with the capacity of 2 liters, this engine will be slotted.

Hyundai Veloster Price

The base price of Hyundai Veloster which was released some time ago has been announced in Twitter by this South Korean automaker. The company says that the full U.S. pricing will be released by the end of this week. Written in Twitter, the Veloster will be priced at $17,300.

This hatchback model with 2+1 doors was released at Detroit Motor Show last January. Coming as the Veloster’s closest rivals are Mini Clubman Cooper, Mini Cooper hatch, Scion tC, and Honda CR-Z. However, the prices of all those rival cars are consequentially higher. The Mini Clubman Cooper is priced from $21,800, the Mini Cooper hatch from $20,100, the Scion tC from $19,305, and Honda CR-Z Hybrid from $19,345.

                                             
                                                        2012 Hyundai Veloster Interior

The engine with the capacity of 1.6 liters delivering 138 HP at 6,300 rpm and the peak torque of 123 lb.-ft at 4,850 rpm is used in the Veloster marketed in U.S. This engine is channeled to a standard manual gearbox with six speeds or to all-new EcoShift dual-clutch transmission with six speeds.

The specs and numbers of fuel economy have not been released yet. However, Hyundai claims that this car can reach 40 mpg highway.
